Dr. Cheryl L. Young serves as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Executive Vice President of Clinical Affairs & Healthcare Innovation for One Team Solutions Enterprises, where she provides executive leadership for the organization’s healthcare strategy, clinical governance, medical quality, patient safety, and healthcare innovation initiatives. As the company’s senior medical executive, Dr. Young is responsible for establishing clinical standards of excellence while leading the development of integrated healthcare solutions supporting federal agencies, correctional healthcare systems, military medicine, veterans’ healthcare, commercial healthcare organizations, public health initiatives, and academic medical partnerships. A distinguished physician with more than 20 years of executive clinical leadership, Dr. Young is a Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist (OB/GYN) whose career spans hospital systems, military medicine, correctional healthcare, humanitarian medicine, outpatient care, and executive healthcare administration. She has served as a Medical Director, Chief Resident, Officer in Charge, correctional medical consultant, and senior military physician, consistently leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams in some of the nation’s most demanding clinical environments. As a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army, Dr. Young has provided executive medical leadership during overseas deployments, including serving as Medical Director for the 348th Field Hospital at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, and as Officer in Charge of a Specialty Clinic at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Her military service, combined with correctional healthcare leadership and extensive civilian clinical experience, uniquely positions her to guide complex healthcare programs requiring operational excellence, clinical accountability, emergency preparedness, and executive-level medical governance.
